• The Eden Project - Pacifica could grow year around crops in domes like this
• Arcosanti - a prototype Arcology
• The Venus Project - many interesting ideas, and some wild and crazy ones too (that belong in a Star Trek episode).
• Space Island Group - these folks will need the research of sustainable building or their orbiting hotel will turn into a stinking, mold encrusted cesspool.
• Oceania - ancient website, interesting pictures
• Lifeboat - from the people that brought us Oceania and the Atlantis Project comes the lifeboat, their mission is no less than to save the human race!
• BioSphere 2 - now part of Columbia University.
• Sail Transportation Network - this is a good idea, regardless of what FedEx ads say...not everything has to be there overnight!
  
  Vegetarian and Health
  The Atkin's Diet(tm) might be getting all the media coverage, but it's probably the stupidest thing to come along since the invention of sliced bread. Here are some links for real healthy diets:
